She seeketh wool and flax and worketh willingly with her hands. --Proverbs 31:13

Not much time to post today, but I wanted to show the little baby set I did Saturday. Despite my best intentions, I wasn't getting any knitting done for charity, so I have decided that on Saturday's I will be knitting for the Pregnancy Resource Center here in town. Our church is really involved with the center, and it just feels like the right place to be knitting for.

These are the Striped Rib Sox, but made with no stripes, LOL. I used Baby Bee Sweet Delight baby yarn, in the crayon ombre color way.

The hat was made from Ann Budd's hat pattern from Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns. I used a double strand of the yarn I used to make the socks, on 60 stitches for a newborn sized hat.

That is great that you are knitting for the Crisis Pregnancy Center. That hat and sock set looks so cute! I'm working on a baby hat at the moment as well (just a plain white yarn with specks of colour throughout it) on two needles and it will be sewn together down the back. I'm thinking of trying a pattern on 4 dpn's and seeing if I like doing that. That way I don't have to worry about sewing up a seam after it is finished.
