This is starting to move along. I have memorized the pattern, it is easy to fix and find mistakes, and I am really liking the fabric that results from the Shetland Bead Lace. It is just what I was looking for for the center of this stole. I was a little worried that I had made it too wide and would have to rip it out and cast on fewer stitches, but the farther along I get, the more perfect it seems.

Here is a closer look, and a look at my newest circulars. I have been waiting and waiting for Hobby Lobby to get in the Baleene II perfection point needles. And, other than the fact that they only come in a 29" length, I would have to agree. They are perfect for this yarn and lace knitting. I really hope they have plans to make longer lengths, I would like some longer ones. The price was much better than the Addis as well. I love Addi Turbos, but they are too slick, and the points are too rounded for me to enjoy them for lace work. VBS continues, those kids are a hoot. We have one little boy who seems to save up unrelated questions for story time, who calls everyone (regardless of size or sex) fat boy, and who is just so cute you want to take him home and keep him. They are all such great kids, so well mannered and pleasant, that I am going to be sad to see it over. Maybe because it is only 3 hours, and then I and they get to go home. I thought I was oging to have some time to knit during my break time, but that hasn't worked out. I just get the next days stuff in order before my time is up. This is going so fast though, that if I can keep up the pace, maybe I can have this part done in a week or two.
