She seeketh wool and flax and worketh willingly with her hands. --Proverbs 31:13

100% Silk, I think the name of the colorway was Northern Lights. I love this, it turned out sooooo pretty. But I don't think it is going in the shawl. I will have to wait and see but it doesn't really fit into the color scheme I see for the shawl. I don't know what to do with 90 yards of laceweight yarn all by itself either though.

Well, no more knitting content for the day, so a picture of my kids. I don't usually put them on here, but this new Picasa has some really nice features, one of which is making a collage out of several pictures. I thought this one turned out nice. So there you are. Sorry not more real content today, things are hectic here. Hopefully I will be in more of a blogging mood tommorrow.

Gosh, your kids are cute! So, how do you like the Picasa software? I haven't taken that plunge yet because I couldn't find out enough about it. What are some of the best features? Is there anything you don't like about it?

I like the Picasa software a lot. The Picasa 2 that updated the picasa I downloaded when I started the blog for the blogger thing, added a lot of nice features. It keeps the pictures stored in nice folders, that you can scroll through quickly, there is the standard crop, light adjustment and picture tweaking stuff, the just basic stuff. What I like best about it is it lets me put lots of pictures in the picture tray, and then if I choose to send them as an email, it resizes all of them for me, to a size I predetermine, and I don't have to do every one myself. Every other picture software I have used, I had to do it myself, and it was a pitb.

And hey, you can't beat free, right?
