She seeketh wool and flax and worketh willingly with her hands. --Proverbs 31:13

The next time you see this sweater, it will be done, except maybe for the buttons. I have two more rows to go on the button band and the bind off row to knit. I have to weave in a few ends. I will have to either reblock it or steam the button bands into a flatter shape (they want to bend up at the moment) The bulk of the work is done though. I am so glad!

I am also working on a birthday present for my Mom, maybe I will have pictures of that the next time I sighn in. Posted by Picasa

The cardigan looks great. I am surprised that you can't find many "half decent" white cardigans in the stores. My mom (who is 71) likes a nice white plain simple cardigan and every year I go shopping to find one for her that isn't designed to come just below the bustline or end in flaring sleeves. No such luck. This past summer I did spot one that I thought she'd like so I snatched it up. I'm thinking I'll have to knit her one...
