She seeketh wool and flax and worketh willingly with her hands. --Proverbs 31:13

The rechargeable batteries in my camera died. I seem to be having a hard time blogging without pictures to show you. I have been working on the first sleeve of the cabled sweater, and it is coming along so nicely. I will soon be done with the increases, and then it is on to the cap of the sleeve and the saddle for the shoulder. I'm excited about starting that, I think it's going to look nice.

In other news, we had a member from Church die last weekend. I don't know if you remember the couple I blogged about when I made the chocolate grooms cake less than two years ago? The male half of that couple, Rick, had a massive heart attack and died last Sunday morning. It was a very hard week, just left me feeling very sad, Donna has been so happy since she and Rick started dating, and I'm just worried for her. She is a woman with a lot of faith though, and I am sure that God will get her through this.

Also, I've finally faced the fact that I have to lose weight, so I am going to be joining Wieght Watchers this coming Tuesday. I'm excited about it, and worried I'll fail at the same time. I've done a lot of research into it though, and this is the first time I have ever started a diet and felt like I could actually do it. I guess we'll see. Instead of posting about that here, I think I might start a sister blog and post about that journey there.

Hopefully I will be able to post pictures soon.

Why should I say I can't when the Bible says I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength? Philippians 4:13

Why should I accept defeat when the Bible says that God always leads me in victory?
2 Corinthians 2:14

Why should I feel like a failure when I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me? Romans 8:37

You can do it.
