I started the Fair Isle sock this weekend. I am pretty pleased with it so far. I have had to stop to reconfigure the next band of color. The way I had it just isn't working for me. So I guess I'll mess with it a little and see what I can come up with. Here's a picture of the sock so far.
We had a wonderful Mother's day. Sean and the kids got me a copy of Lost the First Season, and a blender. He always gets me something with a cord, it is a running joke. We went to church, and then on a picnic back at the river. Stash has discovered the river. He would stay there all day, as long as we kept throwing the ball for him. We finally have to make him stop when he starts breathing heavy. The kids went wading, and we just had a lot of fun spending time together.
So anyway, after all that fun yesterday, Chad and Reagan are sick today. I'm going to go start the bread for today, take care of my kiddo's and see if I can make any progress on this sock.
She seeketh wool and flax and worketh willingly with her hands. --Proverbs 31:13

The colors in your sock look so good together.
Is the river behind your house, so you can walk to it? Looks like you had a wonderful day!
